Each week as appropriate, USA Wrestling will post the results from women’s college open tournaments from the weekend. Here is this week’s report, with three tournaments held all across the nation, including the largest college open tournament ever held.

Summary: NCAA No. 17 Adrian won the team race by just one point over NCAA No. 11 East Stroudsburg, with NCAA No. 18 Northern Michigan placing third. Adrian won based upon its depth, as it had one individual champion in Clarissa Agostini (143). ESU had three individual champions, Haley Delia (101). Emily Klein (116) and Sofia Macaluso (123). NMU also had three winners, Diana Dzasezeva (136), Noelle Gaffney (155) and Lydia Krauss (170). Other individual champions were Kylee Bentley of NCAA Hiram (109), Alexis Janiak of NCAA Aurora (130) and Mia Delgado of NAIA Siena Heights (191).

Summary: NJCAA No. 2 Umpqua CC won the team title, with community college Grays Harbor in second and NAIA No. 15 Eastern Oregon in third. Eastern Oregon had the most individual champions with four: Stephanie Blankenship (123), Kaylee Moore (130), Morgan Shines (136) and Liv Wieber (143). Umpqua CC had three winners: Brooke Logan (155), Alyvia Askren (191) and Leilani Holley (Over 191). Grays Harbor was led by champion Katie Gakin (170). The other individual champion was Washington high school star Mia Zuniga, competing unattached at 109 pounds.
