USA Wrestling Utah job opportunity: Full-time Boys National Team Director

USA Wrestling Utah is a non-profit organization that manages amateur wrestling in the state of Utah. We are looking for someone that is driven and detailed oriented that can help coordinate, coach and manage the Utah National Teams. The primary goal for this position is to increase Utah's competitiveness and participation on the National level in all styles (Folkstyle, Greco-Roman and Freestyle).
Job Status: Full Time (must be primary)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm (adjusted for tournaments and practices but 40 hours per week is expected).
Location: Orem, Utah
Pay: This position will have a base salary with benefits. There will also be bonus opportunities
Start date: August 1st, 2022
Job Description
The Boys National Team Director for USA Wrestling Utah will help coordinate and coach all boy National Teams including competition and practices. The job includes increasing the overall competitiveness of wrestling in Utah. This position requires great organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. This position has great support from other staff and board members in accomplishing the goals set forth.
Specific duties for National Teams Coordinator include but not limited to:
• Running year round practices
• Setting up and running wrestling camps throughout the year
• Coordinating & organizing all National Team events including youth and high school.
• The National Teams Coordinator will help with events throughout the year as needed and directed by the Executive Director
• Be organized and pay attention to detail
• Customer service must be a priority and must answer calls, emails and texts in a reasonable time
Required Skill Sets
• Detailed oriented
• Patient, customer service oriented
• Good people skills
