FARMINGTON, Utah – USA Wrestling kicked off its 2022 competition with the Folkstyle Tour of America – Salt Lake Slam on New Year’s Day in Farmington, Utah, which featured more than 750 wrestlers over eight divisions.

Six athletes were named Outstanding Wrestlers, including Daniel Green (Middle School Boys 83 lbs.), Jade Seymour (Middle School Girls 126 lbs.), Jaxten Bowler (12U 78 lbs.), Avery Anderson (10U 53 lbs.), Landyn Stills (8U 53 lbs.) and Herra Fisher (Youth Girls Division 55 lbs.).

The next Tour of America event is the Southern Grind, set for Jan. 14 in Warner Robins, Ga. Registration is still open.
