In Episode 14 of Heads Up – a USA Wrestling Coaches Council Podcast, Mike Clayton and Mike Hagerty visit with Mike Hatcher and J.D. Robbins.
Hatcher, the USA Wrestling Tennessee State Chairperson, has a tremendous background. He wrestled at the Univ of Iowa for Dan Gable from 1991-96, has coached at the youth, High School, Collegiate, and RTC levels.
One of Mike Hatcher’s mentors is Coaches Council rep J.D. Robbins of Florida (SE Region), who has coached champion wrestlers on the Senior, high school and youth levels as well. J.D. and Mike help "Mike and Mike" share some great info on what it takes to develop a state association and to grow wrestling. Check out this great conversation!
