Wartburg is No. 1, Wabash is No. 2 NWCA 2021-22 Preseason Division III Tournament Team Poll

Manheim, PA – After missing the past two NCAA Championships, Division III is back and ready to get on the mat and the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has released their NCAA Division III Wrestling Preseason Coaches Polls as the season is set to get underway.

14-time National Champs, Warburg sits atop the preseason tournament team poll. Rounding out the rest of the top five are #2 Wabash (48pts), #3 Loras (44pts), #4 Coe (38pts), and #5 John Carroll (29pts)


Division III was the only NCAA division to not have their 2021 National Championships after all divisions were cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the NWCA through guidance from the DIII Leadership Group hosted a national championship tournament in Coralville, IA at the Xtream Arena.


There was no team score kept while highlighting the individuals who earned NWCA All-American status. 2021 Tournament Results
