Masters athletes can go Beach, Greco-Roman & Freestyle, May 20-22 in Jacksonville at the Beach and Masters Nationals

Adult wrestlers in the Masters division (age 25 and older) can compete in three different styles of wrestling this weekend at USA Wrestling national events in Jacksonville, Fla.
The U.S. Beach Nationals Championships, which includes a Masters division, will be held at the One Ocean Resort & Spa in Jacksonville, May 20. The annual USA Wrestling Masters National Championships, which includes freestyle and Greco-Roman divisions, will be held at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center, May 21-22.
This is a great opportunity for Masters athletes to try to win a unique “Triple Crown,” by winning national titles in Beach, Greco-Roman and freestyle the same year.
The U.S. Beach Nationals has always had a Masters division, but this will be the first time that the Beach Nationals will be held alongside the Masters Nationals in the same city.
Those Masters athletes who are competing in the U.S. Beach Nationals and intend to also wrestle in the Masters Nationals in freestyle and Greco-Roman will only need to weigh in once for the weekend, on Thursday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m.
There are no set weight classes for Masters wrestlers in the U.S. Beach Nationals., which will be paired through the Madison system.

Masters Division A: (Born 1987-1996)
Masters Division B: (Born 1979-1986)
*Masters Division C: (Born 1971-1978)
*Masters Division D: (Born 1963-1970)
*Masters Division E: (Born 1955-1962)
*Masters Division F: (Born 1946-1954)

58 KG / 127.6 lbs
62 KG / 136.6 lbs
70 KG / 154.2 lbs
78 KG / 172 lbs
88 KG / 194 lbs
100 KG / 220.4 lbs
130 KG / 286.6 lbs
All competitors in Masters Class C, D, E must present a letter of medical clearance (Form) at USA Wrestling National Events medical check to Weigh in that states the competitor is cleared to compete without any restriction. The letter must state that the competitor has the cardiovascular to compete in an intense, vigorous competition per UWW Federation Regulations. The letter must be dated within 90 days of competition. The letter must clearly identify the MD or DO with location and contact information for MD or DO.
