Adult wrestlers in the Masters division (age 25 and older) can compete in three different styles of wrestling this weekend at USA Wrestling national events in Jacksonville, Fla.

The U.S. Beach Nationals Championships, which includes a Masters division, will be held at the One Ocean Resort & Spa in Jacksonville, May 20. The annual USA Wrestling Masters National Championships, which includes freestyle and Greco-Roman divisions, will be held at the Prime F. Osborn Convention Center, May 21-22.

This is a great opportunity for Masters athletes to try to win a unique “Triple Crown,” by winning national titles in Beach, Greco-Roman and freestyle the same year.

The U.S. Beach Nationals has always had a Masters division, but this will be the first time that the Beach Nationals will be held alongside the Masters Nationals in the same city.

Those Masters athletes who are competing in the U.S. Beach Nationals and intend to also wrestle in the Masters Nationals in freestyle and Greco-Roman will only need to weigh in once for the weekend, on Thursday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m.

There are no set weight classes for Masters wrestlers in the U.S. Beach Nationals., which will be paired through the Madison system.
