Pin of the Week: JD Bergman picks up an opening round fall at the 2010 World Championships

Two-time Ohio State All-American JD Bergman kicked off his 2010 World Championships with a big pin over Tajikistan’s Farkhad Anakalov. Bergman went on to finish ninth at his first World Championships. He later made the 2013 World Team as well.
Bergman was a numerous time National Team member in men’s freestyle and also made the 2005-2006 Greco-Roman National Team. He logged numerous title-winning performances in his international career including the 2010 NYAC International, the 2012 Waclaw Ziolkowski Memorial, the 2014 Copa Brasil, the 2015 Granma Cup, the 2015 Bill Farrell International and the 2016 Dave Schultz Memorial, and he was a two-time U.S. Open champion (2010,2013).
