On this International Women’s Day, USA Wrestling would like to celebrate one of the most historic moments in U.S. sports history, Helen Maroulis becoming the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in wrestling. Her victory came over one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Japan’s Saori Yoshida, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and thirteen-time World champion.
