FARGO, N.D. — Wednesday’s Junior Nationals finals are set in the women’s freestyle division as semifinal bouts were completed in the morning session at the FargoDome. The group of finals is headlined by top-ranked wrestlers Sage Mortimer (112) and Kylie Welker (164), who are wrestling for Fargo titles.

Team California has a strong lead in the team race, represented with all four finalists in the 100 and 106-pound divisions. Twins Brianna and Emilie Gonzalez are finalists at 100 pounds. In total, California has seven finalists.

There are several matches that will grab the attention of fans watching live in Fargo, most notably the bout at 132 pounds. Washington's London Houston, who is the sixth-ranked pound-for-pound wrestler in the country, will battle Wisconsin's Hanna Errthum, who is ranked third nationally at the weight.

There are two 16U champions from earlier this week who are in the championship field. Both California’s Paige Morales (106) and Texas’ Jasmine Robinson (152) will be looking to double up. Morales will wrestle California’s Kiely Tabaldo, while Robinson will see Rose Cassioppi of Illinois.

The finals session for women’s freestyle begins at 2:00 p.m. CST. Fans can watch the action live on FloWrestling.
