Anthony, McKenna and McFadden to compete in Ukraine, Feb. 26-28

Three Americans will compete next weekend at the Outstanding Ukrainian Memorial tournament in Kiev, Ukraine, including one women’s freestyler and two men’s freestyle athletes.
Competing in women’s freestyle is Victoria Anthony, who is a two-time Senior World Team member, finishing fifth in both of her Worlds appearances. She is also a three-time Pan American champion, with her most recent gold coming in March 2020, which marked her last international competition. Anthony will wrestle at 50 kg/110 pounds.
Competing in men’s freestyle is Joey McKenna at 65 kg/143 pounds and David McFadden at 79 kg/174 pounds.
McKenna is a 2017 U23 World bronze medalist and 2014 Junior World silver medalist. Domestically, McKenna has a solid resume with a 2018 U.S. Open title and three NCAA All-America honors for Stanford and Ohio State.
McFadden represented the USA at the 2018 U23 World Championships, which was his last international tournament. He is a 2020 U23 national champion and a three-time NCAA All-American for Virginia Tech.
