Olympic Wrestling Medal Count as of August 5: United States takes the lead with seven

After the fifth day of finals at the wrestling competition of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the United States took over the lead with seven total medals.
Right behind the USA in the medal count is the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) with six. Host Japan is next with five medals. Two nationals have four medals, Ukraine and Iran.
Nations getting gold medal tonight were Russia (74 kg MFS), the United States (125 kg MFS) and Japan (53 kg WFS).
