80 champions crowned at Folkstyle Tour of America Salt Lake Slam in Utah

FARMINGTON, Utah – The 2025-26 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America Series continued over the weekend at the Salt Lake Slam, taking place at Western Sports Park in Farmington, Utah.

 

Tournaments were held for the Middle School age group and below, for both boys and girls, with over 1,180 athletes in action.

 

Eight tournament champions were spotlighted as Outstanding Wrestler recipients—Teagan Luna (Middle School Boys, 105 lbs.), Sophia Valdez (Middle School Girls, 87-93 lbs.), Edgar Garcia (12U Boys, 63 lbs.), McKenzie Andrion (12U Girls, 64-68.6 lbs.), Drex Ashworth (10U Boys, 63 lbs.), Valentina Martinez (10U Girls, 57.2-61.2 lbs.), Zaiden Medina (8U Boys, 43 lbs.) and Wrenley Reynolds (8U Girls, 48.2-54.8 lbs.)
