A talented team of 19 Americans, led by two-time defending Beach World Series champion Eliana Bommarito, head to Alexandria, Egypt, for the 2025 UWW Beach Wrestling World Series Finals to take place October 18-19 at Radisson Blu Hotel.

This is the fifth and final UWW Beach World Series event of the year. This event is the highest point-scoring event in the Beach World Series ranking system and will determine the World champion and medalists in each weight class for the season.

Bommarito holds the No. 1 ranking at +70 kg in the women’s beach division with 63,000 points, the highest ranking of any American entering the event. She has collected three medals this season, a gold in Casablanca, Morocco, and bronzes in Monterrey, Mexico, and Poreč, Croatia. Bommarito holds a solid 13,300-point lead on second ranked Iryna Pasichnyk of Ukraine and is in pole position to earn a third-straight World Series title.

Holding top five rankings coming into the Finals, within striking distance of a World Series medal, are Kyle Ferriter at +90 kg in men’s beach and Olivia Pizano at 70 kg in women’s beach. Both individuals are ranked No. 5 in their weight class. Ferriter was a bronze medalist in last year’s Beach World Series.

In addition to Bommarito’s three medals this season, three other American’s entered in Alexandria hold a medal from 2025. Justin Benjamin, who is ranked No. 6 at 70 kg in the men’s division, claimed silver in Monterrey. Likewise, Jabari Irons, No. 15 at 90 kg, was a silver medalist on the men’s side in Casablanca. Earning a bronze medal in Katerini was Adriana Gomez, who is No. 14 at 50 kg on the women’s side.
