Cruzer Dominguez named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Cruzer Dominguez (Ralston, Neb./MWC Wrestling Academy) has been named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on November 5, 2025.

 

Dominguez captured a gold medal at the 2025 GB Grand Prix held in Manchester, England. He topped the charts at 60 kg in the U17 men’s freestyle division with a 4-0 record, outscoring his opponents by a combined 46-4 tally.

 

The Nebraska prep standout is also fresh off a first-place finish at the 2025 Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals held in Des Moines, Iowa. Dominguez was the champion at 120 pounds in the 11-12 grade boys division. He went 6-0 in Des Moines, with his first three wins coming by pin and his second trio of wins coming by technical fall.

 

Dominguez was a Greco-Roman All-American at the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals held in Fargo, N.D. He has earned All-America status at the premier USA Wrestling national event three times, once at the Junior level and twice at the 16U level. He was also fifth at last year’s U17 Nationals in freestyle held in Las Vegas.
