Aubre Krazer named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Aubre Krazer (Easton, Pa./Team Pennsylvania) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on July 9, 2025.

 

Krazer claimed a gold medal at the Grand Prix of Spain at 59 kg, over the weekend. She won four straight bouts, defeating 2022 World bronze medalist and 2020 Olympian Jowita Wrzesien of Poland in the finals, 2-1.

 

She was dominant in her first three matches, scoring two technical falls and a pin. In the semifinals, she smashed 2023 World bronze medalist Othelie Hoie of Norway in a 13-2 technical fall.

 

Krazer won the 59 kg title at the 2025 U20 Women’s National Championships & World Team Trials in Spokane, Washington, in April. She will represent Team USA on the international stage at the U20 World Championships in Samokov, Bulgaria, in late August. Krazer has signed with Lehigh.
