Thirteen win USA Wrestling Triple Crown award, freestyle concludes at Kids Nationals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—Action concluded at the 2025 Kids Freestyle & Greco-Roman Nationals at Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Sunday. Thirteen athletes across four age-divisions won the coveted USA Wrestling Triple Crown award, claiming titles in folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman in the same year.
Five athletes in the 14U division won the Triple Crown award on Sunday following the conclusion of freestyle action. Korbin Kiessling of Rampage Wrestling (75), Joseph Sullivan of Apex Wrestling NYC LLC (80 pounds), Nelson Villafane of Mat Assassins Wrestling Club (88 pounds), Evan Restivo of M2 Training Center (105 pounds) and Vincenzo Mannello of GPS Wrestling (120 pounds) all etched their name into USA Wrestling history on Sunday morning.
This is the third Triple Crown award for Kiessling, as he previously won in the 10U division in 2022 and the 12U division in 2024.
In the 12U division, there were three athletes that doubled up on titles this weekend, adding to their Folkstyle Nationals titles from January. Chase Gilbert of NOVA Wrestling Club (86 pounds), Anze Williams of Meridian Maniacs Wrestling Club (98 pounds) and Mercer Hamilton of Mat Demon Wrestling Club (108 pounds) secured their first Triple Crown awards in Iowa on Sunday.
In the 10U division, four athletes won titles in freestyle on Sunday, earning the Triple Crown award. Kyan Keys of Millard South Wrestling Club (49 pounds), Cameron Gilbert of NOVA Wrestling Club (67 pounds), Cameron Allen of Oconomowoc Wrestling Club (71 pounds) and Vincent Englese of St. Charles Wrestling Club (105 pounds) doubled up on titles over the weekend.
On Saturday, Jaxon Huffman of Team Tulsa Wrestling Club (85 pounds) claimed the first USA Wrestling Triple Crown award in the 8U division, going 2-0 to win a freestyle belt. The 8U Greco-Roman tournament was completed on Friday, and the 8U freestyle tournament concluded on Saturday.
