Illinois, Utah, Pennsylvania Red, Indiana Gold are top four seeds in men’s freestyle at AFSW Junior National Duals

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – The men’s freestyle seeds have been finalized for the 2025 Air Force Special Warfare Junior National Duals following weigh-ins at Baird Center North. The men’s freestyle tournament will be held June 20-21.


Earning top four overall seeds and headline spots in preliminary pools are No. 1 Illinois (Pool A), No. 2 Utah (Pool B), No. 3 Pennsylvania Red (Pool C) and No. 4 Indiana Gold (Pool D). The remaining seeded teams will be slotted into each pool in order of rank. Brackets and real-time results from the event are available through USA Bracketing.


The top 16 teams were determined based upon the aggregate style-specific PIN rankings of the athletes on the team, based upon the rules set in the Policies and Procedures for National Dual Championships. A full list of the top 16 seeds can be found below.


The tournament will begin at 8 a.m. (CT) tomorrow, running through each preliminary pool. The color pools that determine final placement will be held on Thursday. A complete schedule is available on usawrestlingevents.com.

2:30 p.m. (CT) – Men's Freestyle Preliminary Duals (Placement, Consolations), Color Pool Duals (Round 1)


9 a.m. (CT) – Men's Freestyle Color Pool Duals (Rounds 2, 3 and Placement)
