Pennsylvania Blue gets No. 1 seed, Utah Gold No. 2 for 16U Greco-Roman National Duals

HERRIMAN, Utah - Weigh-ins are complete and the top 16 seeds have been set for the Greco-Roman competition at the 2025 16U National Duals in Herriman, Utah, which will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Zions Bank Real Academy.
The top 16 teams were determined based upon the aggregate style-specific PIN rankings of the athletes on the team, based upon the rules set in the Policies and Procedures for National Dual Championships
The top 16 seeds are:
1. Pennsylvania Blue
2. Utah Gold
3. Oklahoma Outlaws Blue
4. Illinois
5. Minnesota Blue
6. Wisconsin
7. Team Indiana Gold
8. Washington
9. Iowa
10. Texas
11. Team Michigan Blue
12. Team Kansas
13. California
14. Oklahoma Outlaws Red
15. Team Idaho
16. Florida
The tournament is split into four pools. Pennsylvania Blue is the top seed in Pool A, Utah Gold is the top seed in Pool B, Oklahoma Outlaws Blue is the top seed in Pool C. Illinois is top seed in Pool D. The rest of the seeds are being placed in the four pools based upon their ranking.

In 2024, Iowa defeated California, 40-30 in the championship dual meet in Greco-Roman. Illinois placed third after defeating Utah Gold, 40-37. Minnesota Blue finished in fifth place, defeating Washington 49-27 in their medal match. Claiming seventh place was Missouri, a 51-25 winner over Oklahoma Red.
Tickets for the event are available on site. All Session tickets are $50, with a $30 ticket for all Greco-Roman sessions and a $30 ticket for all men’s freestyle sessions.

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM – Freestyle Round 1 of Gold/Silver, Bronze/Copper, Red/Blue and Green/Yellow pools
