Korbin Kiessling named USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare

Korbin Kiessling wins the 2025 Kids Nationals freestyle title in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Korbin Kiessling (Huntingtown, Md./Rampage WC) has been named the USA Wrestling Athlete of the Week, presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare, on July 2, 2025.


At Kids Nationals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kiessling doubled up on national titles in freestyle and Greco-Roman in the 14U division, adding on to his national title in folkstyle earned in January.


In Greco-Roman, Kiessling went undefeated with four straight wins, including two 8-0 technical falls, one fall in 21 seconds, and a 6-0 decision in the championship finals. He held a 5-0 record in freestyle, which included three technical falls, one fall and a decision in the first place match.


This is the third Triple Crown award for Kiessling. In 2022, Kiessling won the award in the 10U division at 56 pounds. His second award was won in the 12U division at 63 pounds in 2024.
