AUSTIN, TX — FloSports will bring Who’s Number One, its premier high school wrestling showcase, to “Wrestletown USA” this Fall with the special event slated for the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, on October 11 and streamed exclusively on FloWrestling.
Now in its 13th year, Who’s Number One features the top-ranked wrestlers nationally in each weight class going head‑to‑head to determine the official No. 1 entering the fall season. Boys compete under NCAA folkstyle rules while girls follow freestyle—continuing a tradition of showcasing elite talent before they step onto the collegiate or international stage.
“Coralville and the broader Iowa City area have justly earned their reputation as Wrestletown USA,” said Travis Shives, GM of FloWrestling. “There’s no better venue to elevate Who’s Number One than at Xtream Arena, where wrestling culture is woven into the community’s fabric, and there’s no better home to showcase the event than FloWrestling.”
Coralville and Iowa City have been dubbed “Wrestletown USA” with wrestling fans around the country flocking to catch the sport’s biggest events, including the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships, top dual events, and the University of Iowa wrestling program.
In February 2025, FloWrestling hosted its FloWrestling: Night in America franchise featuring Spencer Lee versus Masanosuke Ono to record-breaking crowds and viewership. The match was responsible for FloWrestling: Night in America’s largest audience to date, registering 16.9 million video views, 25.8 million social media impressions, and 1.5 million social engagements.
