FloWrestling’s annual Who’s Number One showcase will take place this Saturday, October 11, at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, to decide who earns the title of No. 1 wrestler at the high school level in the boys and girls divisions.

The premier high school event is littered with elite talent across both divisions that includes a Senior U.S. World Team member, nine age-group World champions, 13 age-group World medalists, 19 age-group U.S. World Team members and 25 champions from the 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals held in Fargo, N.D.

A full slate of 12 girls matches kick off the festivities at 2 p.m. (CT) with the main event pitting 2025 U20 World champion Everest Leydecker of Arizona against 2025 U17 World silver medalist Epenesa Elison of California at 120 pounds.

Four more age-group World medalists will represent on the girls side including two-time U17 World champion Taina Fernandez of Maryland at 135 pounds, two-time U17 World bronze medalist Jaclyn Bouzakis of Pennsylvania at 105 pounds and 2025 U17 World bronze medalist Ella Poalillo of New Jersey at 155 pounds.

Additionally, top-ranked competitors Kaili Manuel of Michigan at 170 pounds, Emma Bacon of Pennsylvania at 125 pounds and Violette Lasure of Pennsylvania at 145 pounds have represented the U.S. at an age-group World Championships.

The boys division will feature 12 matches, including a mini-tournament with the top three wrestlers at 120 pounds—No. 1 Landon Sidun of Pennsylvania, No. 2 Rocklin Zinkin of California and No. 3 Domenic Munaretto of Illinois.

The highlight bout for the boys comes at 150 pounds with two-time age-group World medalist Bo Bassett of Pennsylvania facing two-time U17 World medalist Jordyn Raney of Kentucky. Both athletes hold a No. 1 ranking, Bassett at 150 pounds and Raney at 144 pounds.

Raney’s twin brother, Jayden, recently finished in seventh place at the Senior World Championships in Greco-Roman for Team USA, and is a 2024 U17 World champion in Greco-Roman. He is paired against 2025 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals champion Moses Mendoza of California at 132 pounds.

Munaretto, Bassett and both Raney’s are past U17 World champions. Three other entrants on the boys card hold the same title—Paul Kenny at 126 pounds, Ariah Mills at 106 pounds and Michael Mocco at 285 pounds. 190-pounder Tanner Hodgins, a 2025 U17 World bronze medalist, adds an eighth age-group World medalist to the bunch.

Three more boys have represented the U.S. on a U17 World Team—Melvin Miller of Pennsylvania at 165 pounds, Adam Waters of Pennsylvania at 190 pounds and Joseph Jeter of Oklahoma at 175 pounds.

All girls matches will be wrestled under freestyle rules, while the boys matches will use NCAA folkstyle rules.
