HERRIMAN, Utah - The top four seeded teams for the 16U National Duals have been determined after weighins at the Zions Bank Real Academy on Tuesday night.
No. 1 seed Team Iowa will the top seed in Pool A. No. 2 seed Utah Gold will be the top seed in Pool B. No. 3 seed Minnesota Blue will be the top seed in Pool C. No. 4 seed Illinois will be the top seed in Pool D.
The seeded teams are based upon the average PIN rating of each of the athletes on the state team rosters. Here are the top 16 seeded teams in the tournament.

16U National Greco-Roman Duals brackets
The defending 16U National Greco-Roman champions is Iowa, which scored a 38-32 victory over Illinois in the championship dual meet last year. Pennsylvania Blue was third, with s 42-34 win over Wisconsin. Minnesota Blue claimed fifth place after beating Michigan Blue 41-32. Taking seventh place was Team Utah, which scored a 38-37 victory over Tennessee.
The 16U National Duals is traditionally a preview of the individual athletes who will be stars this summer at the U.S. Marine Corps 16U Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
Among those entered, based upon preliminary team rosters, is 2023 16U Nationals Greco-Roman champion Hayden Schwab of Iowa (106 this year), 16U Nationals runners-up Vincent DeMarco of Illinois (100), Austin Collins of Colorado (120) and David Calkins of California (190) and 16U Nationals third-place finisher Rocco Cassioppi of Illinois (120).
There are three 2024 U15 Nationals champions on the preliminary rosters: Thales Silva of California (88), Tyler Verceles of Maryland (94) and Ivan Ivanov of Idaho (165).
Session times on Wednesday are 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Mountain Time. All of the action will be broadcast live by FloWrestling
Greco-Roman concludes on Thursday. Freestyle competition at the 16U Nationals duals will be on Friday and Saturday.
