Match of the Day: World champions Adeline Gray and Tamyra Mensah-Stock wrestle in the 2017 Dave Schultz Memorial finals
by USA Wrestling
On Saturday night, World champions Adeline Gray and Tamyra Mensah-Stock will face off live on FloWrestling. Gray is the first five-time World champion in U.S history. Mensah-Stock is a 2019 World champion and 2018 World bronze medalist. Gray is sitting in the Olympic Team Trials finals at 76 kg, while Mensah-Stock is sitting in the 68 kg finals.
The pair usually wrestle two weight classes apart during non-Olympic years, but they met once before at the 2017 Dave Schultz Memorial, when Mensah-Stock bumped up. At this point in their careers, Gray was a three-time World champion and Mensah-Stock had yet to represent the U.S. at a World Championship.
