Preseason Nationals: A preview of the high school boys divisions

This weekend, USA Wrestling hosts its 13th annual Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals at Hyvee Hall in Des Moines, Iowa. Nearly 3,000 wrestlers are expected to compete across nine different division in the folkstyle event.

Of those nine divisions, two have sold out, the high school boys 9th-10th grade division and the high school boys 11th-12th grade division. Combined, these divisions will feature 1,522 athletes. Among those are six 2019 U15 World medalists, eight 2019 Preseason Nationals high school champions, two past Cadet World Team members and two 2020 Super 32 finalists.
2019 U15 World medalists
9th-10th grade division
- 106 pounds – Aden Valencia, 2019 freestyle and Greco-Roman U15 World champion
- 106 pounds – Paul Kelly, 2019 Greco-Roman U15 World champion
- 120 pounds – Greyson Clark, 2019 freestyle U15 World champion
11th-12th grade division
- 145 pounds – Tyler Antoniak, 2019 Greco-Roman U15 World bronze medalist
- 160 pounds – Bradley Gillum, 2019 freestyle U15 World silver medalist
- 170 pounds – James Rowley, 2019 freestyle U15 World bronze medalist
