Kylie Welker is a rising talent in women's wrestling. Last night at Who's Number One, she emerged victorious against 2019 Cadet World silver medalist Skylar Hattendorf. Despite it being a win by injury default, Welker has still proven herself as one to watch.
Welker made her international debut in 2016 at the U15 Pan American Championships, where she claimed bronze. After battling an injury, Welker returned to the big stage, representing the United States at the 2019 Cadet World Championships at 61 kg. In her first Worlds appearance, Welker dominated, claiming a bronze medal.
