USA Wrestling releases boys and girls All-Tournament Teams from Sunshine Preseason National Duals

ORLANDO, Fla. – USA Wrestling has chosen to recognize All-Tournament Teams for both the boys division and the girls division from this past weekend’s Sunshine Preseason National Duals.
Based upon the number of matches available, to make the All-Tournament Team, and athlete must go undefeated and have at least five actual matches during the two-day event. Forfeit wins are not counted towards the total for All-Tournament consideration.
The boys tournament, which was contested in folkstyle, had 37 teams from across the nation. In total, 39 boys qualified for the Boys All-Tournament Team, representing 17 different teams.
Among the boys teams, Cali Red National Team from California, which won the tournament, had the most All-Tournament Team members with six. Victory Wrestling from Central Washington, which placed third as a team, was next with five All-Tournament team members. ECE was next with four, followed by KWA-MN, Chosen Ones and Betterman Elite with three.
The girls tournament, which featured 10 teams competing in both freestyle and folkstyle, had 15 athletes from six different teams qualify for All-Tournament Team status. Wyoming Seminary, which won the tournament, had the most on the All-Tournament Team with six, with runner-up team Somar Raiders of California next with four All-Tournament selections. The other team with multiple members of the All-Tournament Team was the Michigan Revolution with two on the All-Tournament Team.
