Jaydin Eierman and Matt Kolodzik met twice at the 2020 Senior Nationals, clashing in the quarterfinals and the fifth-place match. Eierman, a three-time All-American, and Kolodzik, a four-time All-American for Princeton, wrestled once before at the 2017 NCAA Championships, with Eierman coming away with a 6-2 victory.
Eierman earned his All-American honors for Missouri but transferred to Iowa for his final year of eligibility. Last weekend, Eierman took out Georgian Olympic and World champion Vladimer Khinchegashvili at the HWC Showdown Open.
