Before WWE superstar Chad Gable climbed into the professional ring, he was focused on his Greco-Roman wrestling career as Chas Betts. The 2012 Olympian was also a 2009 Senior World Team member, a 2008 World University Team member and a two-time Junior World Team member in 2005 and 2006.
Leading up the Olympic Games, where he ultimately finished ninth, Betts had a breakout year, winning the U.S. Open, the Olympic Team Trials, the Dave Schultz Memorial International and the Pan Am Championships. He also finished second at the Olympic Qualifier to secure a berth at the Games for Team USA.
