Match of the Day: Tommy Rowlands and Steve Mocco have a brutal battle in the 2008 Senior Nationals finals

Long-time rivals Tommy Rowlands and Steve Mocco squared off in the 2008 Senior Nationals finals. In a particularly physical bout, Rowlands emerged victorious in three matches. However, Mocco would get his revenge at the Olympic Team Trials, defeating Rowlands for the spot.
Rowlands, a 2005 University World Champion, finished fifth at the 2007 Senior World Championships. Collegiately, he wrestled for Ohio State where he was a four-time All-American, three-time NCAA finalist and a two-time NCAA champion.
Mocco was a four-time NCAA finalist and a two-time NCAA champion competing for Iowa and Oklahoma State. Additionally, he was a three-time Pan Am Championships gold medalist.
