Today, Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced a guidance that requires cancelation of large public gatherings of over 250 people unless they limit contact between people to six feet.
As such, USA Wrestling has postponed the USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle Nationals, which was scheduled for the Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo., March 26-29.
This is consistent with USA Wrestling’s procedure to seek guidance from the local health department, as well as its number one priority being the health and safety of its members.
USA Wrestling is working with leaders within women’s age-group wrestling to reschedule this tournament, at a site and date to be determined.
