Match of the Day: Legends Nate Carr and Andre Metzger wrestle for a spot on the 1988 Olympic Team

The 1988 Olympic Team Trials finals at 68 kg featured a clash between two of the premier wrestlers in the sport, Nate Carr and Andre Metzger.
At the time, Carr was a three-time NCAA champion for Iowa State and a 1983 World Team member.
Metzger was a two-time NCAA champion at Oklahoma and had claimed bronze at the 1979 and 1987 World Championships and silver at the 1986 World Championships. He also placed fourth at the 1982 World Championships.
The winner of this best-of-three series would go on to take bronze at the Olympic Games in Seoul, Korea.
