by Beat the Streets National

Beat the Streets is Growing and is looking for social impact professionals that are passionate about empowering youth.

At Beat the Streets (BTS) we believe that the sport of wrestling instills a mindset that empowers youth to overcome adversity, believe and achieve big goals, and to become our next generation of service-minded problem solvers. Our youth are our future; investing in their well being and development addresses both existing and unforeseen societal challenges. By keeping youth engaged in school and wrestling, we are closing the education gap, decreasing inner-city crime, and helping break through the poverty cycle. Beat the Streets has established a successful track record of engaging and inspiring a diverse population of youth. BTS wrestlers are more likely to graduate high school, enroll in post-secondary education, live healthy lifestyles, and give back to their communities.

The Beat the Streets mission has been gaining momentum across the country with programs operating out of Boston, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Chicago, Cleveland, Lancaster, Philadelphia, Providence, and New York City. In 2019, BTS Member organizations provided support to 272 teams serving over 7,300 youth living in under-resourced communities. This rapid growth has created a need for additional dedicated and passionate people to join the BTS team.
