2017 Cadet World Champion Will Lewan and 2019 NCAA All-American Kaleb Young met in the 70 kg finals of the U23 Nationals last month in Omaha, Nebraska.

Lewan, a 2020 NWCA Second-Team All-American for Michgian, and Young, a 2020 NWCA First-Team All-American for Iowa, met once during the NCAA season, with Young coming away with a 7-3 victory. Next season, Lewan is slated to be a redshirt sophomore and Young is a redshirt senior.
