Match of the Day: Ronna Heaton claims a U23 Nationals title

Ronna Heaton was in fine form at the U23 Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska last month. The 2015 Cadet World Champion and 2016 Cadet World silver medalist, advanced to the 53 kg finals with a technical fall and two pins, including one over 2018 Cadet World bronze medalist Tiare Ikei in the semifinals.
In the finals, Heaton, who currently trains with the Wisconsin RTC, took on Cheyenne Sisenstein of King University. Sisenstein is a 2020 WCWC Nationals runner-up. To reach the finals, she took out 2018 Junior World Team member Alisha Howk and 2019 U23 World Team member Felicity Taylor.
