On this edition of #TeamUSATuesday, we caught up with Joe Russell, the National Men’s Freestyle Assistant Coach. Prior to joining USA Wrestling, Russell was the head coach at George Mason University. He also served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Minnesota.Some of the topics discussed in the interview include growing up as the coach’s son, his relationship with his brother Dan and earning his juris doctorate as a backup plan.
