by USA Wrestling
Former Oklahoma State All-American Chandler Rogers went 4-1 at the 2019 Bill Farrell Memorial International, taking home a bronze medal. More importantly, Rogers earned a spot at the Olympic Team Trials as the highest placing American in the bracket.
After opening the tournament with a pin over Richard Carlson, Rogers suffered his only loss in the quarterfinals to Aliaksandr Kikiniou, a 2009 World bronze medalist and two-time Olympian for Belarus. In the consolation bracket, Rogers pinned 2018 U23 World Team member George Sikes to advance the consolation semifinals, where he received a forfeit. In the bronze medal match, Rogers earned a fall over the 2019 Japanese Championships gold medalist Satoki Mukai.
