Eight Junior men's freestyle champions are looking to add Greco-Roman titles

Eight Junior men’s freestyle champions will attempt to double up with Greco-Roman titles. All eight cruised into the round-of-16.
California’s Jace Luchau, who was the Outstanding Wrestler of the men’s freestyle tournament, bumped up from 152 pounds to 160 pounds.
The other seven champions stayed at the weight they won their title. They Include Daniel Sheen of Illinois (100), Andre Gonzalez of California (106), Anthony Molton of Illinois (120), Joshua Saunders of Missouri (138), Anthony Echemendia of Arizona (145), Braxton Amos of West Virginia (220) and Luke Luffman of Illinois (285).
Drake Ayala of Iowa was the only wrestler still in contention for a Triple Crown, but he opted not to compete in Greco-Roman.
The four 2018 Junior Greco-Roman champions all made it through to the round-of-16 as well. This includes Michigan’s Chayse LaJoie (120), Idaho’s Ridge Lovett (138), Minnesota’s Cael Carlson (152) and Illinois’ Jace Punke (220).
