Hartshorn, Omania, Eischens, Braunagel, Boykin receive draws for day two of Greco-Roman at Junior Worlds

TALLINN, Estonia – The final five U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers have received their draws for the UWW Junior World Wrestling Championships, and will begin competition on Saturday.
Competing in his third age-group World Championships is Peyton Omania (Concord, Calif./Michigan State/CYC) at 67 kg/147 lbs. Omania will battle Jaewon Lee of Korea in his first match. Lee was fifth in the 2019 Canada Cup.
Omania was on the 2018 U.S. Junior World Team, and the 2016 Cadet Team. Omania was a 2018 Junior Nationals champion. He enters his redshirt freshman year at Michigan State.
The other four wrestlers stepping on the mat for Team USA in Greco-Roman on Saturday are in their first age-group World Championships event.
NMU-OTS athlete Mason Hartshorn (Antioch, Calif./NMU-OTS) will compete against 2019 Asian Junior champion Mukjammadkodir Yusupov of Uzbekistan at 60 kg/132 lbs..
Stanford redshirt freshman Tyler Eischens (Anoka, Minn./Stanford/California RTC) will compete at 72 kg/158 lbs. His first-round opponent is Deividas Subotkevic of Lithuania, who was sixth in the 2019 Nordic Junior Championships.
At 82 kg/180.5 lbs., Illinois redshirt freshman Zachary Braunagel (O’Fallon, Ill./Illinois RTC) will start his tournament against Toyly Orazov of Turkmenistan, a 2019 Asian Junior bronze medalist. Braunagel won a 2019 Pan American Junior title in Greco-Roman.
Nicholas Boykin (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids/OTC) will open at 97 kg/213 lbs. against 201 Junior World silver medalist Markus Ragginger of Austria. Boykin is a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (USOPTC) in Colorado Springs, Colo.
