A group of 15 U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers affiliated with the Northern Michigan University – U.S. Olympic Training Site (NMU-OTC) will compete at the Eduardo Campbell Cup in Panama City, Panama on Saturday, September 29.

This is an annual tour for NMU-OTS athletes which provides them with a chance to test themselves against international opponents and get a number of matches. This is the largest delegation from NMU-OTS to attend this tournament in history

Among the athletes on the tour are 2016 U.S. Open runner-up Khymba Johnson at 97 kg. Johnson won a gold medal at the 2017 Eduardo Campbell Cup

Sammy Jones, a 2017 U.S. Open runner-up at 63 kg, is among the other top athletes on the tour. Jones was also a 2014 University Nationals champion.

Roy Nash, who placed ninth in the 2013 Cadet World Championships in Greco-Roman and won USA Wrestling national titles at the age-group level, is on the roster at 97 kg.

The team is coached by NMU-OTS Greco-Roman head coach Rob Hermann, a past Olympic Greco-Roman coach who has organized this tour each year.
