Anthony, Campbell, Brady win gold medals at Ion Cornianu Memorial in Romania

BUCHAREST, Romania – A small delegation of U.S. men and women wrestlers had a strong performance at the Ion Cornianu Memorial this weekend, winning seven medals including three gold medals.
Capturing gold medals were a pair of women freestyle stars Victoria Anthony (50 kg) and Kelsey Campbell (55 kg). Taking home a gold medal in men’s freestyle was Dalton Brady at 65 kg. All three of the champions compete for the Sunkist Kids club.
Anthony is a two-time Senior World Team member and two-time Junior World champion. Campbell was a 2012 Olympian and a two-time World Team member. Brady, a former Arizona State wrestler, was fifth in the 2011 Cadet World Championships.
The U.S. delegation also captured three silver medals from Amy Fearnside of the Titan Mercury WC at 50 kg, Jenna Burkert from the U.S. Army WCAP at 59 kg and Michael Kosoy of the Sunkist Kids at 125 kg.
Fearnside, a past University World medalist, reached the finals, where she competed against Anthony, making it an all-USA final. Burkert was a 2014 U.S. World Team member. Kosoy was a double gold medalist from the 2017 Maccabiah Games.
Add in a bronze medal from 2016 Olympian and 2017 World Team member Haley Augello of the Sunkist Kids at 53 kg.
The USA team was coached by U.S. Army WCAP coach Jermaine Hodge.
