With the conclusion of the three Final X events and the Greco-Roman World Team Trials in Tulsa, the 2018 U.S. Senior World Teams have been set, except for one weight class.

The women’s 57 kg Championship Series between Helen Maroulis of the Sunkist Kids and Alex Hedrick of the Titan Mercury WC has been delayed due to an injury to Maroulis, a 2017 World champion. The site and date for this wrestle-off has not yet been determined.

With that said, Team USA for the 2018 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary is a mix of experienced veterans and young talents. The group includes two Olympic champions, four World champions (who have won a combined 10 World golds), nine World medalists (with a combined 20 World medals) and seven Olympians.

The U.S. men’s freestyle team is the defending World Team champions, after winning the team title at the 2017 Worlds in Paris. The U.S. women’s freestyle team is coming off an impressive second-place finish at the 2017 Worlds in Paris.

There are 18 athletes who have competed in previous Senior World Championships, and another 11 who will be wrestling in their first Senior World Championships.

Included on the roster are eight past NCAA champions (with a combined 21 NCAA titles) and six WCWA women’s national champions (with a combined 12 WCWA titles).

All of this information will be updated after the women’s 57 kg Women’s Wrestle-off.

The World Championships will be held in Budapest, Hungary, October 20-28. Here is your 2018 USA Wrestling Senior World Team athlete roster.
