Yasar Dogu brackets posted on Trackwrestling; USA to open in three matchups with Kazakhstan

The brackets from the first day of the Yasar Dogu International in Turkey are in, and have been posted on Trackwrestling.

Earlier in the day, USA Wrestling received the draw numbers for all participants, and the organizers have now completed the pairings.
Three of the five U.S. stars competing on Friday morning are facing opponents from Kazakhstan in their first round.
The U.S. will send five wrestlers to the mat on Friday, who have won a combined two Olympic golds, seven World golds, 10 World medals and 11 NCAA titles.
2012 Olympic champion and four-time World champion Jordan Burroughs opens with Saeed Zervanatareq of Iraq at 74 kg.
2016 Olympic champion and two-time World champion Kyle Snyder opened with a bye at 97 kg, and will face the winner of the first round bout between Murazi Mchedlidze of Ukraine and Alireza Goodarzi of Iran. Mchelidze was a 2017 U23 World bronze medalist. Goodarzi was a 2014 Asian Cadet silver medalist.
2016 World champion Logan Stieber will face 2011 World bronze medalist Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan at 65 kg.
2017 World silver medalist Thomas Gilman has drawn 2013 World University Games bronze medalist Berdakh Primbayev of Kazakhstan in his opener at 57 kg.
Two-time World Cup champion David Taylor will battle 2017 U23 World silver medalist Azamat Dauletbekov of Kazakhstan to start his tournament at 86 kg.
On Friday, the tournament will advance to the semifinals in the first five weights. This group of athletes will have their medal rounds on Saturday night in Istanbul.
Session times on Friday are 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Istanbul time. This is seven hours ahead of the U.S. Eastern time zone.
