Richie Lewis burst onto the international wrestling scene last fall, when he won a gold medal at 70 kg in freestyle at the first U23 World Championships, held in Bydgoszcz, Poland. A New Jersey native, Lewis first went to Junior college, before returning to Rutgers to complete his college wrestling career. He talks about his competition future, which will include a run at the 2020 Olympic team in freestyle, then a change of focus into MMA fighting, which is another major passion for Lewis.
