U.S. Cadet women receive World draws at 40 kg, 46 kg, 53 kg, 61 kg and 69 kg

ZAGREB, Croatia – The second half of the U.S. women’s freestyle team received its draws for the 2018 Cadet World Championships on Wednesday in Zagreb, Croatia.
Representing USA tomorrow are Sterling Dias at 40 kg, Olivia Shore at 46 kg, Leilah Castro at 53 kg, Morgan Norris at 61 kg and Macey Kilty at 69 kg.
2017 Schoolboy/girl Pan American champion Dias, a Nevada native, will face Buman Enkhbold of Mongolia in her opening match tomorrow at 40 kg. Enkhbold took eighth at last year’s Cadet Worlds.
Facing another top-10 World placer in her first tomorrow is two-time Cadet World Team member Shore of Ohio at 46 kg. Shore will go up against Seyma Kizmaz of Turkey in her first match.
Fellow Ohio native Castro will begin her first World Championship tomorrow, facing Aizhan Sabyrbek Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan, who finished seventh at the 2018 Cadet Asian Championships.
At 61 kg, Norris of Nevada drew Latvia’s Alina Antipova, who took 11th at this year’s Cadet European Championships.
Finally at 69 kg representing the U.S. is 2016 Cadet World bronze medalist Kilty. Making her second Cadet World appearance, Kilty will open against 2016 Cadet Asian bronze medalist Sonika Hooda of India.
