The USA Wrestling women's wrestling program comes off a strong 2017, where Team USA placed second at the World Championships in Paris with three individual medalists, including World champion Helen Maroulis. Women's National Coach Terry Steiner, who joined the national staff in 2002, has built a program which annually competes among the best nations in the world. Steiner, his staff and the National Team athletes have set high goals for 2018. Coach Steiner talks about how the increase to 10 weight classes affects his program, the winter tour season, the recent WCWA college nationals, the Women's World Cup in Japan in March, the addition of girls state tournaments in Georgia and Oregon and much more.
