Youth Olympic Games selection Robert Howard: "I think it's a tremendous honor and I feel blessed to be selected to represent our country."

Two months from today, freestyle athlete Robert Howard will represent the United States in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, competing at 55 kg.
Howard, one of the nation's top high school talents, is a two-time Cadet World Team member, who recently represented the United States at the 2018 Cadet World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, where he tallied a top-10 finish.
Since then, Howard has hit the ground running with his training, attending camps at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., and working out with high caliber athletes such as 2017 Junior World champion and 2018 Final X competitor Daton Fix.
The Youth Olympic Games are set for Oct. 6-18 with wrestling to be contested Oct. 12-14. The U.S. is sending three other athletes alongside Howard, including 2018 Cadet World champion Emily Shilson, 2018 Cadet World bronze medalist Tiare Ikei and 2018 Cadet World Team member Carson Manville.
