LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Three past Olympic team members, Haley Augello of the New York AC at 53 kg, Kelsey Campbell of the Sunkist Kids at 59 kg and Adeline Gray of the New York AC at 76 kg, won semifinal bouts and will compete in the gold-medal finals on Friday night at the Marine Corps U.S. Open at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Augello, a 2016 Olympian, scored a 10-0 technical fall against 2017 U.S. Open runner-up Dajan Treder to advance to the finals, where she will meet 2016 World Team member Sarah Hildebrandt, who won her semifinals with an 11-0 technical fall over U23 World team member Cody Pfau of the Titan Mercury WC.

"I feel really good right now. It's been a rough couple of months just getting through injuries so it's nice to finally tune in and feel like myself. I have been really focusing on my mental side of wrestling. I know what to do when I am out there. I think my wrestling is good but it a lot to do with what’s up here. Going through an injury is hard, any wrestler can tell you that. It's like wrestling with your body," said Augello.

Campbell, who competed in the 2012 Olympics, stopped Brenda Reyna, 8-1 in her semifinals. Her opponent in the finals will be Lauren Louive of the New York AC, a 9-3 winner over Abby Nette of the Lions WC in the other half-bracket semifinal.

"I feel like I am wrestling well. I am just trying to focus on scoring points and focus on the moment while not getting ahead of myself. It’s a new format for everyone. I prepared as well as anyone. I watch film, I always zone in and I'm always open to learning. I feel like you can always learn and get better," said Campbell.

Gray, a 2016 Olympian and three-time World champion, pinned Mariah Harris of Campbellsville in 1:15 to advance to the finals. She did not compete in the 2017 season to recover from injuries. Gray’s opponent in the finals will be young Leilani Camrgo-Noane of the MWC Wrestling Academy, a 3-0 winner over Korinae Bullock of the McKendree Bearcat WC in the other semifinals.

"It's going well. It’s a little smaller of a bracket this time. I think a couple of people shifted down to the 72 kg weight class which is an Olympic weight class, which is smart of them honestly to get a little more experience. Today, I have been wrestling some tough college girls. They've been strong. They have came out swinging. Luckily, I have been able to capitalize on some of their little mistakes,” said Gray.

At 50 kg, two-time World Team member Victoria Anthony of the Sunkist Kids will battle three-time World Team member Whitney Conder of Army WCAP in the finals. Anthony stopped three-time Junior World medalist Erin Golston of Nein her semifinal, 5-2, while Conder edged Amy Fearnside, 6-5.

There will be a high school senior in the finals at 57 kg, as New York native Michaela Beck of the New York AC will face college wrestler Alex Hedrick in the finals.

The 62 kg finals is a highly anticipated battle between 2017 World Team member Mallory Velte of the Titan Mercury WC and four-time WCWA college national champion Kayla Miracle of the Sunkist Kids. Both beat quality opponents in the semifinals. Velte beat past U.S. Open champion Amanda Hendey, 6-1, while Miracle edged past World Team member Jenna Burkert of the U.S. Army WCAP, 7-1.

Two other past World Team members have reached the finals, 2015 World Team member Erin Clodgo of the Sunkist Kids at 72 kg and 2017 World Team member Tamyra Stock at 72 kg.

The gold-medal finals are set for 7:00 p.m. Pacific time on Friday, and will be aired live on Flowrestling.
