Tickets now available for World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in Rochester, Minn.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in Rochester, Minn., May 18-20. The event features the Senior men’s and women’s freestyle Challenge Tournament, which serves as the final qualifier for the Final X series, as well as the Junior men’s freestyle World Team Trials.

For the three-day event, there are one-day passes and all-session passes available. For fans 17 and younger, one-day passes are $10 while all-session tickets are $15. For those 18 years old and up, one-day passes are $20 with the three-day passes sold for $30.

Tickets for the Junior and Senior freestyle events will also get fans admission to the Northern Plains Regional, a youth event that will be run alongside the other two that weekend.

It is sure to be an exciting weekend as some of the best talent in the nation will be competing. The winner at each weight of the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in men’s and women’s freestyle at the Senior level will secure the last spot in Final X.

Junior-aged athletes in men’s freestyle will vie for the Junior World Team spot that weekend. The Junior World Championships is set for August 17-23 in Trnava, Slovakia.

During Final X, the top men’s and women’s freestyle wrestlers will compete in a best-of-three series, earning spots on the U.S. Senior World Team and the opportunity to compete at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Oct. 20-28, 2018. Final X will be held over three consecutive weekends and in three different cities: June 9 in Lincoln, Neb., June 16 in State College, Pa., and June 23 in Bethlehem, Pa.

10 a.m. – Session I: Senior women’s freestyle and Junior men’s freestyle prelims
4 p.m. – Session II: Senior women’s freestyle and Junior men’s freestyle semis and challenge finals

Saturday, May 19
10 a.m. – Session III: Senior men’s freestyle prelims
1 p.m. – Session IV: Senior women’s freestyle and Junior men’s freestyle best-of-three finals
5 p.m. – Session V: Senior men’s freestyle semis and challenge finals

Sunday, May 20
12 p.m. – Senior men’s freestyle best-of-three finals
