Dremiel Byers of the US Army WCAP program is the winningest wrestler in Dave Schultz Memorial International history, with six gold medals and 11 total medals. The Greco-Roman heavyweight was one of the greatest wrestlers in USA Greco-Roman history, a World champion, three-time World medalist and two-time Olympian. Byers believed that competing in the Dave Schultz Memorial was a very important event for him to get prepared for the international; season ahead. Now retired, Byers is one of the coaches for the Army WCAP team, helping develop the next generation of great wrestlers.
