Below is the final list of wrestlers who have qualified to participate in the 2017 U.S. men’s freestyle World Team Trials in Lincoln, Neb., June 9-10.

There are eight more qualifiers after last weekend’s Last Chance Qualifier in Rochester, Minn. The highest placer in each weight that had not already qualified was awarded a bid to the Trials.

All eight weights already have one finalist determined to compete in the best-of-three finals series at the 2017 World Team Trials. Last year’s World and Olympic medalists advance to the finals, while all other weights that did not have a World or Olympic medalist awarded the finals spot to the U.S. Open champion, which was determined in Las Vegas last month.

Earning byes to the finals are:

  • 57 kg – U.S. Open champion Tony Ramos, Chapel Hill, N.C. (Sunkist Kids WC)
  • 61 kg – 2016 World medalist Logan Stieber, Columbus, Ohio (Titan Mercury WC/Ohio RTC)
  • 65 kg – U.S. Open champion Jordan Oliver, Tempe, Ariz. (Sunkist Kids WC)
  • 70 kg – U.S. Open champion James Green, Lincoln, Neb. (Titan Mercury WC)
  • 74 kg – U.S. Open champion Jordan Burroughs, Lincoln, Neb. (Sunkist Kids)
  • 86 kg – 2016 Olympic medalist J’den Cox, Columbia, Mo. (Missouri Wrestling Foundation)
  • 97 kg – 2016 Olympic champion Kyle Snyder, Woodbine, Md. (Titan Mercury WC)
  • 125 kg – U.S. Open champion Nick Gwiazdowski, Raleigh, N.C. (Titan Mercury WC)

These qualifiers were determined based upon the 2017 World Team Trials Qualification and Procedures for each style, which have been approved by USA Wrestling’s Executive Committee.

This is the list of qualifiers, who are in the field based upon the approved procedures.
